Business is none of Art´s business, except Art is using the elements and laws or rules of the market as part of its artistic creation process. This definition of Money Art is our core business. Our art work abdicates itself from the traditional laws of the art market, calls them into question, and ultimately uses the elements and laws or rules of the market as part of its artistic creation process. Our artistic focus is on the “Price” as an element and the “Formation of Prices” as a law of the market. Instead of the price being the result of the market, of demand and supply, we entangled date, number and value - somehow like in physics the quantum entanglement. If one of these elements changes the two others have to follow simultaneously. For example, if we want to create the next art print, which is the next number, we have to do this on the next day, because that’s the imposed artistic rule: If you add one to the number, one day is added to the date and 10 Cent to the value too. In other words: Due to our rule, which entangles number, day and value, we create just one art print a day, but each day one and by that the art work itself determines the financial value and not the artist, the gallery or the ups and downs of the art market. The interesting point is, although the price is “created” in a quite unusual way, the outcome is marketable and saleable like any other artwork or commodity. What might be new is that the price and the pricing becomes that way part of the experience of art, part of the aesthetic! * * * |

The rules, as a small print at the bottom of each art print, demonstrated en detail by today’s HoC Money Art Print, are:
1. Number: The number for the limited edition of only 1 HoC hemp Art Print we create today is 93.7179 . We could not use the traditional numbering for art prints like 3/100 or 276/10.000, because this only fits for numbers and not for time and value too: 2. Time: Subtract the number 93.100 (this number is our key for figuring out any calendar date) from the authenticator number 93.7179, you get 7079 . Then add 7079 days to the date 01.01.1993 – the day the first Art Print was created - and you will get the 20.05.2012, which is today.
3. Value: In the figure 93. 7179 , the number on the right of the peroid shows the actual accrued value of this particular Art Print which is today 7179. Therefore, the price for today´s HoC is 625,70 Euro plus 10% VAT.
Each new Art Print becomes part of a Sustainable Edition: Only one new Art Print will be created per day ... (limited),but every day a new Art Print ... (unlimited). An edition, with built in growth sustainability, not just in numbers but in monetary growth, Consistent, Sustainable, Measurable, Quantifiable Growth!
Each Art Print has the original signatures of both artists, Kment and Temt, as proof. Tomorrow´s History of Creation will have the Authenticity Number 93.7180. Its value will be 7180 - increased by ONE and and its price will be 625,80 Euro increased by 10 Cent.
Due to its three dimensions (WxDxHt), each Art Print can become an element of a sculpture and owing to the value as an integrative dimension, we call them "Economic Sculptures"
As an owner of a HoC Art Print then, you are free to barter and sell your HoC Art Print at whatever price you choose. |
